Soto
Vera is the latest development in the fastest developing

will be built on 45.000 square metres, with ample pools,

Desert Springs, are no more than 10 minutes away.
The
building company for Soto Vera is Blue Diamond Vera
S.L. The company was founded in 2000, by Peter Henry
Iden. The marketing company is Oasis de Vera, founded
in 1998 by his son Marc Peter Iden.
Peter
Iden, born in Germany, started his career in building
in 1984 in Hamburg, Germany. Acquiring old houses in
Hamburg and surroundings, renovating and converting
them into luxurious apartments, was his business until
1989. Then the iron curtain fell and East-Germany offered
completely new possibilities.
Starting
immediately in 1989, Peter Iden was one of the first,
to go into former East-Germany. The old Hanse-Town Wismar
was the perfect place to go, because it had lots of
old buildings and nobody had taken care of them during
the communist regime. The business got transferred and
within the next ten years, Peter Iden changed the standard
of housing in Wismar drastically. Buying these derelict
houses and converting them into top-quality apartments
is a hard task anyway, but in Germany, with plenty of
laws for protection of old buildings and monuments in
place, the task becomes even harder.
The
sales-side of the business in Hamburg and Wismar was
even then run by Marc, his son.

By
the end of 1998, the time was right, to move to Spain.
Although settling in the area of Alicante, he immediately
acquired a plot of land in the region of Vera. He started
his business in Spain with a development of town-houses
in Venta la Nuza. Introducing german building quality
made this development an immediate success and as Marc
had come with him to Spain, the whole business stayed
in family hands.
Additional
to Venta la Nuza, the company did the same as in Germany.
Buying old villas and renovating them. New in Spain
was for the company to finish houses, which were left
from the Spanish builders.
In
2003 the company started the first development south
of Alicante, slowly moving in the direction towards
Vera. An apartment-complex in Torrevieja, right in the
centre of town, finished to the highest standards. This
was unusual for Torrevieja. Marble floors, electric
shutters and latex colours are just some of the items,
which made the development Antonio Ismael a big success.
Now,
as all apartments in Torrevieja are handed over to the
new owners, Blue Diamond Vera S.L. is working full time
for Soto Vera, which will be built on the plot which
was acquired five years ago. These five years were filled
with meetings with Mayors, Architects, Lawyers and Engineers,
to get all licences and permits.
Now
we are at the end of 2005 and the start of Soto Vera
is just a few days away. The whole company is excited
and looking forward towards this new task. We all know
it will be a lot of work, long hours, even on the weekends.
But we are geared up for it and we are very certain,
Soto Vera will be another success-story for our company.
